Lonely Cyclist
I made this photo at the beginning of this month but only edited it today. Just some exposure correction and cropping.
For this image I used the Samyang 7.5mm fish-eye lens. And I really like to use this lens. I find that the images have a very pleasant color and contrast. Of course you get a lot of distortion but if you use the lens in a right way it is not too bad. And of course you can always correct it later. I don’t do that often, often It makes the images even more weird. The image below was not corrected.
The fish-eye works also very well with a nice sky with well defined clouds as you can see this photo.
Nimbus
Nimbus is the name of this apartment building and with 75 meters it is the tallest apartment building in my city. In general most buildings in my city are not tall. People don’t seem to like high buildings and many were against the construction. I think it is an interesting building and a real eye catcher.

Another photo I took almost 2 weeks ago on the campus of the Radboud University in Nijmegen.

This morning 43.910 walkers started the 3rd day of the 4 Day Marches in Nijmegen. And 42.996 finished their 30km, 40km, 50km or 55km walk late this afternoon. So thumbs up for everyone.

walking together
Today is the second day of the 4 Days marches in and around my city. It was a another hot day for the walkers. Temperature around 35c. Respect for every participants. I saw this couple walking hand in hand.
Shoes in the air
Next week Tuesday starts the biggest event of the year in my city, the International 4 Days Marches. This it will be the 100th time that this event is organised. Almost 50000 people have to walk 30, 40, 50 or 50 km everyday, depending on their age and gender. Most of the participants come from the Netherlands but there will also be thousands of walkers from 67 other countries. When you complete the 4 days you get a medal and a hero’s welcome at the finish on Friday.

Campus
Today I woke up a bit earlier then usual. Instead of waiting until it was time to go to office I left home also earlier. And decided to make some more photo’s at the university campus where also the office is.
