Another photo from yeterday’s walk. This time from a very low angle.
The Crossing
72 Years ago, on this day, soldiers of the 82nd Airborne Division crossed the river Waal in small boats. Their goal was to capture the two bridges that cross the river. 48 Soldiers lost their life that afternoon.
Lonely Cyclist
I made this photo at the beginning of this month but only edited it today. Just some exposure correction and cropping.
For this image I used the Samyang 7.5mm fish-eye lens. And I really like to use this lens. I find that the images have a very pleasant color and contrast. Of course you get a lot of distortion but if you use the lens in a right way it is not too bad. And of course you can always correct it later. I don’t do that often, often It makes the images even more weird. The image below was not corrected.
The fish-eye works also very well with a nice sky with well defined clouds as you can see this photo.
De Oversteek
The bridge ‘De Oversteek’ is one of the new bridges in my city. It offers many photographic opportunities. Every time you see new things or new angles.
